  1. Take 3 Cups Whole Milk (Full Cream)
  2. Prepare 1 Cup Milk Powder
  3. Take 1/2 Cup Sugar
  4. Take 1/4 Cup Water
  5. Make ready 1/2 Cup Hung Curd (Plain Yoghurt)

Instructions to make Mishti Doi (Dahi):
  1. Mix the sugar and water in a large vessel and boil…when caramelised, add in the measured milk and boil again while stirring continuously
  2. Add in the milk powder & give it a nice mix & wait for the milk to boil once more & then, keep it aside now
  3. Allow it to cool down a bit until lukewarm…& then, mix in the measured hung curd (whisked well), into it & mix well enough with a whisker the entire mixture now
  4. Take any Terracotta/Ceramic/Borosilicate vessel/bowl & pour in the mixture
  5. Cover it with a aluminium foil sheet and put on it's own lid or any other & allow/rest it to incubate in the lowest possible heat/flame of your gas oven
  6. For that- Take any big sized iron tawa/kadhai or similar kind of vessel & put inside the prepared curd bowl for incubation for at least 2 hrs time, wrap it with a heavy/thick towel & cover the outer iron vessel with an appropriate lid/cover
  7. After 2 hrs. Take it out & check if it’s been well set now & post that refrigerate the same for about 2/3 hrs time before serving
  8. Serve it absolutely CHILLED TO GET THRILLED while, having the same
  9. Refrigerate the Mishti Doi & Serve Chilled
