  5. In a separate non stick pan or heavy bottom pan mix remaining 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp of water. Keep it on low flame until it becomes golden brown.
  6. Immediately add in hot reduced milk. Mix well. Add the cardamom if you want.
  7. When it starts to boil stir and switch off the flame.
  8. Let the milk become lukewarm stir continuously. Don't make it completely cool.
  9. Whisk the curd well. Mix with reduced milk and whisk again.
  10. Add flavour of your choice. Add rose syrup and whisk again.
  11. Now time to set. You can set it in glass or ceramic pot too. But better try in set in earthen pot for better result.
  12. Pour the milk in the earthen pot. Cover and keep it undisturbed in a warm place for 8-9 hours.
  13. After setting keep it in refrigerator. Serve chilled.
  14. Garnish with chopped nuts and rose petals and enjoy as a dessert.
