One of my favorite is Arun Cassata Icecream. I can eat tons of them, they are creamy and delicious. I have no problem in buying them from our neighbourhood bakery and enjoying.

Prepare For base
Take 1 litre milk
Prepare 1 cup sugar
Take 2 tsp corn flour
Take 1 tsp Gems
Make ready 1/2 tsp Cmc Powder (Carboxy methyl cellulos)e
Make ready 1/2 cup milk powder
Prepare 1 cup malai/cream
Take For 4 type of ice cream
Take Butterscotch ice cream
Make ready 1/2 tsp Butterscotch essence
Take pinch Yellow food colour
Prepare 3 tsp Crushed Caramel
Prepare Vanila ice cream
Make ready 1/2 tsp Vanila essence
Take Strawberry ice cream
Make ready 1/2 tsp Strawberry essence
Take pinch Pink food colour
Prepare Chocolate ice cream
Get 1 tbsp coca powder
Make ready 1/2 tsp chocolate essence
Get for base cake
Prepare as needed britania fruit cake
Make ready handful dry fruits
Take 4-5 cherry
Get 2 tsp Chocolate syrup for garnish
When the vanilla ice cream is hard, take out the bowl and coat the inside with the pistachio ice cream. Whip one cup of the cream with two tablespoons of the sugar. Fold the nuts into the cream mixture and place the cream/nut mixture into the center of the bowl. Cassata is an ice-cream, shaped like a brick, consisting of layers of ice-creams of different flavours on liqueur soaked sponge.
Steps to make Cassata ice cream:
First of all take a pan add 1 litre of milk and bring to boil and stir it for 10 minutes.
Then in a bowl add cornflour cmc gms and milk powder add some milk and dissolve it. After that this mixture is to be mix in the milk.
The ice cream base mix becomes thick and coating consistency. After that flame turn off and base to be cooled down.
After cooling down the mixture take a mixer jar and pour the batter, malai and grinded Sugar in it. Whisk it for 2-3 minutes.
After that take the batter equals into 4 bowls.
In 1st bowl vanila essence add. In 2nd bowl butterscotch essence, crushed caramel and yellow food colour used. In 3rd bowl strawberry essence, pulp or pink colour used. In last bowl for chocolate ice cream 1 tbsp of cocco powder and chocolate essence used.
After that all 4 bowls to be freezed for 6-7 hours. Untill it becomes tight.
Then take a ice cream mould (I used rectangular). a later of cake fruit cake is laid down. (Use any fruit cake)
Remove chocolate ice cream from freeze and chrurn it into mixer jar. After that thick ice cream is laid over cake garnish it with cherries and dry fruits.then freeze it for 2 hours.
Same process is repeated all 3 ice creams. ( laid butterscotch ice cream over it and then sprinkle it with cherries and dry fruits. Freeze it for 2 hours for later set above 2 layers is set same as last process.
Cut ice cream and enjoy with your family. Garnish with chocolate syrup.
This is the Sicilian version of the dessert. I have chosen ready-made ice-cream to make a quick dessert. You may make the ice-cream yourself at home. This is an exotic ice cream from India. Quite similar to the original Italian concept of cassata ice cream but just different recipe adapted to suit Indian tastebuds and preferences.
