  2. Cream brown sugar, butter, shortening together.Add eggs & mix well.
  3. Add salt,cinnamon, baking powder and mix well. Mix baking soda & boiling water together. Then add to your mixing bowl and mix. Add flour & oatmeal . Mix well.
  4. Scoop dough onto parchment lined cookie sheet. By rounded teaspoonfuls. ( I used a #40 scoop) .Bake 10 minutes. Mine took a little longer. Be careful not to burn them. Remove from oven & cool completely.
  5. Scoop a small amount of marshmallow fluff onto one cookie, top with another cookie. Lightly press them together.Freeze right away if not eating them right away.

They were a hit, none were left by. Gently stir in the oatmeal and raisins. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder and add to creamed mixture. Add soda to hot water and add to batter – mix well. That recognizable ingredients list applies to the oatmeal cream pie filling, too.
